Holiday timetable January 2017

This holiday season we will be open on Tuesday 3 January and Thursday 5 January with a revised timetable.

Friday 23 December 2016 is the last day of our normal full timetable, and we reopen with our normal full timetable Saturday 7 January 2017.

Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic system of yoga synchronizing movement with each breath. Each posture is linked with vinyasa in a flowing form. This movement coupled with Ujjaya breathing, acts to purify and strengthen the body and mind.

Beginner classes are suitable for people with no prior yoga experience.
Level 1 (L1) is a dynamic 1 hour class, with modifications and resting poses for the new beginner.
Level 2 (L2) longer by half an hour further increasing stamina, strength and flexibility.
Mysore style classes are suitable for all levels of students who have attended a minimum of 4 Beginner classes. Mysore students can arrive anytime up to 1 hour before the class finishes.

Hatha Yoga at the Auckland Yoga Academy is characterized by its precise alignment and attention to detail.

Hatha classes are suitable for all levels, and for pregnant women after the first trimester.
