Hatha Yoga is characterized by it’s precise alignment and attention to detail; a safe sure way to health and well being. Time can be spent in the poses discovering correct alignment of the pose.
Beginner classes are suitable for people with no prior yoga experience. Open classes suit Beginners level 2 (some experience) and Intermediate students.
Each Hatha Yoga class has a theme (standing poses, sitting poses, backbends or abdominal strengthening poses) between the inversions which are usually handstands and headstands at the beginning and shoulderstands before the relaxation period at the end. Each week the theme changes until all the themes are covered.
Pregnant or post natal students
We recommend you attend either our Hatha Yoga classes.
All Hatha Yoga classes are suitable for pregnant women after the end of the first trimester.
Please let the teacher know you are pregnant or have recently given birth and they will modify your practice accordingly.
